Summer Festival Tour 2011

We are on the road again for our usual summer festival tour. This will be our 17th year. Our first stop is the Yellowbanks Dulcimer Festival in Owensboro, KY where the Lindsey family will headline. We missed being at this festival last year and are really thrilled that the Yellowbanks club has revived the festival. We wish them the best for a great and successful festival. Our second stop will be at the Gebhard Woods Dulcimer Festival in Morris, IL. This club is also reviving their festival after a year off. With all the rain up north we are hoping the water hasn't hurt the area they will be having the festival in.

We are enjoying the cooler air up here in the northern part of the U.S. When we've called home the temperature in OK has been nearly 100 degrees! But we've had a cool May and need the warmer weather to grow hay for the cows.

Our family so enjoys seeing all the friends we've made over the last 17 or so and making new friends at each festival. It's much like having family reunions.
